dubh / dialogues in black presented contemporary objects by Irish designers & artists in dialogue with their American peers. The colour black has long held a fascination in art and design and dubh / dialogues in black looked at black as both a physical and an emotional starting point for a group of 30 Irish and American artists, studio makers and designers. Curated by Brian Kennedy, the American Artists in this exhibition were selected in collaboration with the Cristina Grajales Gallery, New York; the Sienna Gallery, Lenox and the Snyderman-Works Gallery, Philadelphia.
